Ward 20, Scarborough Southwest

Vote Sharmina Nasrin

Election Day: October 26

A Voice for Every Scarborough Story. I am running for real progress on housing, transit, opportunity and community services. The kind you can actually see on your street. Because Scarborough Matters.

Why Sharmina

I know the community. I know the system.

I am a mom, an immigrant from Bangladesh, a former public servant, and your neighbour in Ward 20. I have lived the newcomer journey. I know what it takes to keep a family going here, and I know the runaround people get when they need housing, a job, transit, or help from the city.

My campaign is simple: practical progress, better neighbourhood services, and a Scarborough Southwest that finally gets the attention it deserves.

My Priorities

Housing. Transit. Opportunity. Community.

Protecting Tenants

I will stand up for tenants and keep our neighbourhoods affordable for families, seniors, newcomers and young people.

Safer Streets & Better Transit

Buses that show up, safer roads, and safer walks to school and the bus stop.

Cleaner Neighbourhoods

Stronger bylaw enforcement and public spaces that are clean and cared for.

More Opportunities for Families & Youth

More jobs, recreation, skills training and programs for our families and youth.
